You are invited to join the Three Sisters Scottish Festival Society as a volunteer.

COVID Protocol for Volunteers (Relevant to the 2021 festival)
Volunteers will be expected to follow any AB COVID Health recommendations and restrictions in place to ensure a safe, fun environment for all including not volunteering if they have any of the core COVID symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, sore throat, loss of taste or smell). To help make these Games safe, masking, and physical distancing, where possible, is encouraged.
Various shifts available, Thurs. Sept. 1 – Mon. Sept. 5.
Help set up tents, fencing & tables on Thursday to Saturday and help tear down on Monday.
Taste of the Highlands, Saturday, September 3, 5pm to 10pm.
Our visitors will enjoy tasting fine wines, Scotches, delicious brews and finger food in the Wild Rose Festival Tent. Volunteers will help monitor tables, serve food, sell bar tickets, clean up after the event and set up for Games Day.
The Games, Sunday, September 4, 7:30am to 5:00pm.
We need volunteers on Games day to help with the gates & and be ambassadors in the Park, in the food tent, in the volunteer registration tent, and at recycling stations.
Pipes and Drums Sunday, September 4, 12pm – 5pm. Please contact us directly to learn more.
We need volunteers to do support work.
The Ceilidh, Sunday, September 4, 5:45pm to 11:00pm.
Help our visitors enjoy the Highland Games evening Ceilidh with music and dance in the Wild Rose Festival Tent.
You will be contacted by the volunteer committee once you have contacted us.
*Please note: Volunteers for Bar service, Entertainment & Retail Shop, Dance Demonstration, Pipes and Drums Exhibition, and the Heavy Sports Competition will be recruited by the supervisors responsible for these services. These positions are not on the signup sheets.

NOTES TO VOLUNTEERS – WHEN SIGNING IN FOR YOUR SHIFTS
- Volunteers must sign a waiver of liability after reading our Code of Conduct and Waiver of Liability document when checking in for their shift
- Volunteers will receive a gift bag of goodies donated by Valley businesses and a T-shirt and gate admittance for the time that they are working
- The Iron Goat will prepare meals for volunteers who will be served in a separate area
- Volunteers may sign-up for our Volunteer Appreciation Gift Draw which will take place after the Games – winners will be notified by email
