The Three Sisters Scottish Festival Society announced today it is initiating planning for a safe and memorable event in 2021. The 30th Annual Canmore Highland Games will take place this September 4-5. The events will take place at Canmore’s Centennial Park, the official venue for the Games since 1991.
This popular event regularly attracts over 5,000 attendees to the beautiful mountain town of Canmore, Alberta.
President Sandy Bunch says: “This past year has not been easy on anyone – the return of our Games will bring positives to everyone touched by it: local hotels, restaurants, other local services and businesses, on-site Celtic Market stalls, food booths, pipe bands, highland dancers, sports participants, Celtic entertainers, attendees, and volunteers alike.”
While detailed upcoming event information is still to come, plans will include but not be limited to the following: Highland Dance Competition, Heavy Sports Competition, Piping & Drumming Contest, British Car & Motorcycle Show, massed bands, Celtic Market, Celtic entertainment, food & beverage booths/trucks and special celebrations for the 30thAnniversary of the Games, all in the postcard setting of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Online ticket sales are slated to open July 1, 2021 or sooner, based on local and regional announcements around COVID restrictions concerning large gatherings.
ROBBIE BURNS DAY 2021 IN CANMORE – For the enjoyment of all, the Malcolm Hotel and the Games organizers will be providing free access to a local virtual Robbie Burns event.
