Dear Supporters,
It goes without saying, 2021 has already been a year unlike any we have seen before. As per our recent announcement, The Three Sisters Scottish Festival Society is currently planning our 30th Canmore Highland Games festival for September 4th & 5th, to be held as a live event.
That said, we must remain vigilant in supporting the larger effort of defeating COVID so that we may all return to a safe new normal. Because of this, we plan our festival fully in the knowledge that the format will be dependent on events and decisions beyond our control.
Our Board of Directors is comprised of a passionate and talented group of event planners. We will continue to pivot like a hammer thrower so as to be able to bring a fantastic event together in the safest way possible.
Musical entertainment has always been an integral part of our festival. We are currently exploring numerous creative options for presenting renowned Celtic artists while meeting important safety guidelines. Details to be announced soon.
We certainly have no illusions that this season’s festival will be easy. We do believe that after over a year of the tribulations this global pandemic has brought, a Scottish Festival would most definitely be good medicine for our collective spirits. For this reason, above all others, we are working very hard to bring the Canmore Highland games back to life for 2021.
Please subscribe to our channels for regular updates on our efforts. We appreciate your continued support and interest in the games. We will not be accepting money from sponsors or ticket buyers until July 1st. However, we are welcoming offers of interest, to be sorted at a future time, when we have more clarity on what the shape of the festival will be.
We are currently visioning the following events with modifications:
• The Heavy Sports, competition
• Pipes and Drums, band exhibitions
• Pipes and Drums, individual competition
• Dance, exhibitions – (Pending clearance from Scot Dance.)
• Sheep Dogs, exhibitions
• The British Car and Motorcycle Show
• Tug O War
Yours Aye,

As we voyage along through the life:
Tis the set of a soul
That decides its goal,
And not the calm or the strife.”
